Do I need to have the probrake handlebar risers approved and registered by the TÜV?
Most probrake handlebar risers are marked on the outside with a KBA number. Over 99% of the available handlebar risers have a General Operating Permit (ABE) and are therefore registration-free. Please refer to the product information for details about the ABE. The ABE is included with the handlebar risers in the form of a booklet. This booklet must be carried and shown when required.

What can I do if I lose the ABE?
The General Operating Permit (ABE) is an official document that is not digitized due to copyright protection reasons and therefore is not available online.
If you have lost your ABE, you can order a new paper copy from our online shop for a small service fee.
Do the probrake handlebar risers fit other models or years than specified?
Our probrake handlebar risers are specifically developed for each vehicle model and year, and come with the appropriate vehicle-specific adapters.
Wichtig ist, dass du bei der Bestellung den Modelltyp und dann das Baujahr deines Fahrzeuges angibst – nicht das Datum der Erstzulassung.

Do the cables and lines still fit when using handlebar risers?
Whether the existing cables and lines still fit depends on the vehicle model and the extent of the handlebar riser.
In some cases, it may be necessary to extend them. Detailed information can be found in the respective product description.
What does 'ABE in preparation' mean?
ABE in preparation’ means that some of our newest models are not yet listed in the current General Operating Permit (ABE).
We regularly update our ABE to include new models. Until a model is officially included in our ABE, we provide a manufacturer’s declaration.
With this declaration, the handlebar riser can be easily registered by an expert.
