Are additional components required for installation?

No, no additional components are required for installation.

All parts required for installation are already included in our car steel braided kit. So you have everything you need for a simple and successful installation.

Can I turn the connectors?

Yes, our steel braided hoses for cars have a twist system that allows the connections to rotate 360 degrees.

Are new banjo bolts required for the pipework installation?

No, you can still use the original banjo bolts to install the cables.

However, if you are looking for a high-quality alternative, we offer suitable stainless steel banjo bolts in our shop.

These are a good addition for an even more solid installation.

Do different colours of cable sheathing and connections cause additional costs?

Our car steel braided kits are supplied with high-quality stainless steel connections as standard.

There is a small surcharge for the optional coloured plastic coating.

The coloured sheathing offers you an individual design option that gives your vehicle a personal touch.

How many lines does a complete car steel braided kit consist of?

A complete car steel braided kit contains all the lines required for your car. The exact number of cables may vary depending on the vehicle model and type.

With the exception of stainless steel and chrome-plated versions, there are no additional costs for choosing the colour of the fittings.

However, if you would like a coloured plastic coating, we will charge a small surcharge.

For which areas of application are steel braided hoses suitable for cars?

Our steel braided hoses for cars are mainly intended for use with hydraulic fluids. If you have any questions about other possible applications, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Is it necessary to order sealing discs separately?

No, the appropriate sealing discs are already included in the scope of delivery of the steel braided kit.

Does a steel braided hose have to be entered in the vehicle documents?

Registration is not required if the steel braided hose is supplied with a general operating licence (ABE).

Lines that are supplied with an expert opinion (e.g. custom-made products) must be presented to a test centre and registered after installation.

Further information on certification can be found in the article details. Clutch lines are generally exempt from registration.
